WHO ARE WE?
Fat Fish is a 501c(7) non-profit organization run by a group of enthusiastic volunteer athletes that are committed to sharing their passion for biking with others, especially youth, throughout our Casper, WY community. It is the mission of Fat Fish to build community unity through hosting a family friendly summer mountain biking race series.
Fun Facts about Fat Fish
- What began in 2010 as a group of less than 10 and has grown to upwards of 300 participants each year!
- One of our founding members was an avid Fisherman and Cyclist…and that is where Fat Fish was born!
- Youth aged 18 and under race the entire series for free!
- Participation in the race series fosters camaraderie and personal growth for each participant
- Each race costs an average of $2,500 to run
- Raffles are held each race for giveaways relating to biking to race participants of all ages.
- Team members volunteer 100% of their time throughout the year to make the series happen.
- Fat Fish partners with others in the community to maintain our unique and wonderful trails.
Why should you consider sponsoring Fat Fish?
Mountain biking is a great family sport, it’s a way to be healthy, connect with friends and meet new people. Sponsorships assist us with subsidizing the season's expenses which include Race permit fees, Insurance, Marketing materials, Timing fees, Event Food, Podium Awards and Raffle Prizes. All sponsors will receive a special code for two free series registrations (will not include the Bear Bait 8 race).
