How lucky are we to be able to enjoy this fun, privately owned single track every year?!?! It is so much fun to have this event mixed into our series! The single track is fast and then punchy, slow and then flowing. It is a blast every time we ride it. Thank you so much to Bruce for allowing us to race here on your property! There are a few creek crossings, so try your best not to "Taylor" off the bridge and straight into the bank. Yikes! That looked like it hurt.
*It's pretty dry up there on the mountain this time of year, don't ride too fast or you may start a grass fire! *Parking is in the Hogadon Ski Area parking lot.
Fat Fish has acquired permission to host this event on private land. DO NOT LITTER and never cut trails. Stay on the existing trail. We will have some great prizes and food donated from our sweet sponsors!
The race will startat 6:30. Comfort tip: Hydrate! Use a hydration pack at the race because there are not many times that you can reach down for a water bottle.
Race Tip: Momentum! What goes up must come down, and then immediately go back up again. Lay off the brakes and use that speed you generated to coast up the hill with little effort. If you do need to pedal, anticipate the shift, and be in the gear you need before you need it.
Family Tip: The grass is tall, so dress in long pants and boots. Those sharp grasses always find their way in your shoes, so boots are nice to have.
Directions: Head south on Casper Mountain Road. Follow the signs for Hogadon Ski Area
